1Overview & Scope

At Academic Alerts (operated by Acadnetica Solutions Private Limited), we aim to provide reliable conference publishing, scholar directory networking, and institutional event management services. This Cancellation and Refund Policy outlines the terms governing cancellations, recurring mandate terminations, and refund requests for subscription plans (Starter, Pro, Enterprise), Pay-Per-Event single passes, and verified listings.

2Recurring Subscription Cancellations

Subscribers on paid plans (Starter @ ₹5,994/mo, Pro @ ₹9,750/mo, Enterprise @ ₹16,200/mo, or annual subscriptions) can cancel their recurring payment mandate at any time directly through their account settings:

• Self-Service Cancellation: Navigate to Dashboard > Settings > Membership & Publishing Plan and click Cancel Subscription.
• Retention of Privileges: When you cancel, your active plan features, event quotas, and institute management privileges remain fully active until the end of your current paid billing cycle.
• No Automatic Future Charges: Once cancelled, your recurring mandate with Razorpay is stopped, and no further automated deductions will occur.

3Refund Eligibility for Subscription Plans

• Initial 7-Day Window: If you subscribed to a paid tier (Starter, Pro, Enterprise) or Pay-Per-Event pass by mistake or experienced technical failures preventing service usage, you may request a full refund within 7 days of the initial purchase, provided no active event has been broadcast.
• Yearly Subscriptions: Annual subscriptions (which include a 10% discount) may be eligible for a pro-rated refund within the first 30 days of purchase upon written review by our support desk.
• Non-Refundable Circumstances: Refunds will not be issued for recurring charges if the cancellation was not requested prior to the renewal date, or where account termination occurred due to Terms of Service violations.

4External Event Registration & Organizer Policy

Academic Alerts connects scholars with official conference organizers and institutions. Registration and participation fees paid directly to third-party host institutions via external registration portals are governed exclusively by the respective host university or organizing committee's refund terms.

5Refund Processing & Turnaround Time

All approved refunds are processed automatically back to the original payment source (Credit/Debit Card, Net Banking, or UPI) via our payment gateway partner, Razorpay:
