Greetings all, and welcome to the website of the 9th Federation of Asian Polymer Societies Biennial Polymer Congress (FAPS 2025). On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it is my immense pleasure to invite you to attend FAPS 2025, held in Singapore for the very first time. Having started our Biennial Polymer Congresses since 2009 in Nagoya, Japan, our objective in hosting this conference has always been, and will continue to be, to reach out to and gather like-minded polymer researchers across the globe to discuss the recent trends and exciting advancements in polymer science and technologies. As such, the Organizing Committee and I are extremely privileged to be hosting this conference in Singapore this year.
The theme of FAPS 2025 is “Polymer Science Reimagined for a Sustainable Future”, in which subtopics of said theme are divided among 10 symposia. Featuring 2 plenary speakers and a remarkable roster of more than 100 invited speakers, alongside contributed oral seminars and poster presentations hosted across the 10 symposia, FAPS 2025 aims to provide a comprehensive, insightful, and inspiration dialogue regarding the multifaceted field of polymer science and technology, and to serve as a platform for future interdisciplinary collaborations to contribute to global efforts in further inculcating sustainability principles in polymer engineering.
In December 2025, FAPS 2025 will be held in Singapore, a modernized and bustling global metropolis, yet still rich in its local cultures. With a diversity of exciting attractions and beautiful sights, an experience in Singapore will be a safe, enjoyable, and enriching one to have.
