About this Academic Event

The Master of Advanced Studies (MAS) in Microinvasive Aesthetic Dentistry is an advanced continuing education programme in this field offered by the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Geneva. It is based on the latest scientific and clinical research and offers a theoretical and practical programme of high quality. It is intended for practitioners aiming to perfect themselves and be able to meet the current national and international technological criteria linked to the rapid and irreversible evolution of our profession. This continuing training is currently the only of this type in Switzerland. The MAS programme consists of on-site courses at the University of Geneva, distance learning and practical work (at the candidate private’s office or at the University of Geneva). The teaching is given in French and English. It is sanctioned by intermediate and final examinations and allows the acquisition of 60 ECTS credits.

This MAS aims at deepening theoretical and practical knowledge acquired during the baseline studies in the field of conservative dental treatment and microinvasive aesthetic dentistry. It fosters dental practitioners’ excellence in their practice.

3 specific modules: basic, specialised I and specialised II (attendance mandatory) 3 oral biology modules (on-site or via distance learning) Weekly seminar and Journal Club (on-site or via distance learning) Continuing education courses (on-site or via distance learning) 8 pieces of documented practical work (on site or in an accredited private institution) 10 documented clinical exercises (on site or in an accredited private institution) Master thesis and publication
