We cordially invite you to the 10th Annual Ankara University Arthroscopic Live Surgery Symposium from 27 – 28 March 2026 in Ankara, Turkey.

As the only advanced training event in joint surgery to date, our concept is not to offer predominantly lectures or videos “from the retort”, but to provide 100% authentic education in the field of arthroscopic surgery by • Live surgeries • Live radiological analyses • Panel Discussion

This meeting will provide various innovations and cutting-edge surgical techniques as well as approaches from national and international experts. They will share experiences, knowledge, new techniques, and advanced technique of arthroscopic surgery in 13 live surgery cases of various shoulder, hip and knee pathologies.

This unique concept means that the faculty will not only focus on the surgical techniques, but also on “the path to surgery”, i.e. the indications, and discuss all of this with each other and with you.

Moreover, the event will offer: • Live dialogue during the surgeries with the surgeons and moderators: You can ask questions directly and make comments. • Panel discussions • Exhibit Hall

Orthopaedic research has seen continuous and exciting advancements over the past decades. Contemporary management for arthritic and traumatic disorders depends on improved knowledge and the practical application of these new findings. Therefore, a close collaboration between clinicians and researchers is essential to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

During its General Assembly in 2024, the European Orthopaedic Research Society (EORS) approved Madrid, Spain as the host city for its 34th Annual Meeting, to be held from September 23 to 25, 2026. It is our privilege to welcome you to one of the best events for sharing ideas, fostering learning, and networking in the field of Orthopaedics, not only in Europe but globally.

Driven by the EORS's central aim, this event provides a unique forum where orthopaedic surgeons, biologists, biomechanists, bioengineers, and translational investigators can engage in vital discussions. The ultimate objective is not only to streamline the path of promising findings from the lab to the clinic, but also to identify pressing clinical problems that require further investigation. The program will combine keynote lectures from world-renowned experts with symposia and free paper sessions, all designed to enhance research studies and extract clinically relevant conclusions through dynamic debates. Additionally, poster sessions will provide excellent opportunities to increase the visibility of investigations. We especially encourage new investigators to participate, gain valuable experience, and foster their growth in the field.

Madrid is a vibrant, growing city with excellent facilities. It is currently experiencing significant growth in its demographics, investment, and international standing. The Congress will be held at the Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingenieros Industriales – Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, part of the School of Industrial Engineering. In the second room, the Exam Preparation Course (EPC) will be available for those seeking more interactive training in preparation for the National Exams and the EBOT Exam.
