The International Symposium on Complex Fluids (CompFlu) is a premier annual conference dedicated to advancing the science and engineering of complex fluids. Since its inception in 2002, CompFlu has established itself as a distinguished international forum that brings together leading researchers, academicians, industry professionals, and young scientists from across the world to exchange ideas and discuss emerging developments in this rapidly evolving field. Over the years, the symposium has played a pivotal role in promoting interdisciplinary collaboration and advancing our understanding of the rich physical phenomena exhibited by complex fluids, including polymers, colloids, suspensions, emulsions, foams, gels, biological fluids, and active matter systems.
CompFlu 2026 will be hosted by the Indian Institute of Technology Ropar from December 12 to December 16, 2026. The symposium is expected to attract more than 500 participants from academia, research laboratories, and industry worldwide. The event will feature a comprehensive scientific program comprising invited lectures by renowned experts, contributed oral presentations, poster sessions, and flash talks designed to encourage dynamic interactions and knowledge sharing among participants. CompFlu 2026 aims to highlight recent breakthroughs and emerging challenges in complex fluid research while fostering collaboration across disciplines and institutions.
Join us at CompFlu 2026 at IIT Ropar as we explore the fascinating world of complex fluids, celebrate scientific excellence, and strengthen global collaborations that drive innovation in this exciting and impactful field.
