Apply evidence-based approaches to topical and systemic dermatologic treatments, including appropriate selection, safe prescribing, and monitoring. Differentiate between benign, inflammatory, and malignant skin lesions to guide management and timely referral. Evaluate when patients with complex or refractory dermatologic diseases require specialist referral or advanced therapy. Implement practical dermatologic management strategies suitable for the primary care setting, including patient education, follow-up, and chronic disease support.
