We are thrilled to invite you to attend the 2026 European Phagocyte Workshop, taking place from March 23-25, 2026 at Keble College, in the historic and iconic city of Oxford, United Kingdom.
For the first time in its history, this long-standing and well-regarded international workshop will be hosted in the UK. Continuing nearly four decades of European phagocyte-focused conferences, the 2026 edition promises to be a vibrant and intellectually stimulating event, highlighting the latest advances in phagocyte biology.
We are assembling a lineup of outstanding speakers from across Europe and beyond, representing various career stages and scientific perspectives. Our scientific programme will feature expert speakers covering a broad range of topics, including phagocytosis and efferocytosis, paediatric innate immunity, mechanosensing, phagocyte flavours, evolution and development, infection, and phagocyte–stromal interactions in health and disease.
We are honoured to welcome our keynote speakers, Ana-Maria Lennon (Institut Curie) and Steffen Massberg (Ludwig-Maximilians University), both of whom are internationally recognised leaders in the field.
The workshop will also place a strong emphasis on supporting the next generation of scientists. There will be numerous opportunities for junior researchers to present their work through oral presentation, flash talks and poster sessions.
The workshop will begin at 13:00 on Monday 23 March and conclude around 19:30 on Wednesday 25 March.
