The Genomics India Conference (GIC) returns for its 6th edition, bringing together global leaders, researchers, innovators and industry experts to explore the rapidly evolving landscape of genomics and its transition into real-world applications. GIC 2026, centered around the theme “Genome to Bioeconomy: Innovation, Impact and Economic Transformation” will spotlight how genomics is driving breakthroughs across healthcare, agriculture, industrial biotechnology and sustainable development.
Taking place on 2–3 September 2026 in Bengaluru, with pre-conference workshops on 1 September 2026, the conference offers a dynamic platform for scientists, clinicians, policymakers, startups, and industry leaders to connect, collaborate, and unlock new opportunities in the growing bioeconomy. Organised jointly by Genotypic Technology, University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore, Indian Institute of Science, National Centre for Biological Sciences and Tata Institute for Genetics and Society, institutions that are actively shaping India’s genomics landscape.
