The Financial Research & Trading Laboratory (FRTL) at the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIM Calcutta) invites submissions for the IIM Calcutta Finance Research Conference (IIMCFRC) 2026, to be held in person on the IIM Calcutta campus, Kolkata, India, from December 12–14, 2026. The conference will be conducted in offline mode only, with no virtual or hybrid option for participation. Building on the success of its inaugural 2025 edition, IIMCFRC 2026 will bring together researchers, industry professionals, and policymakers to discuss cutting-edge research in finance and accounting. The conference offers a platform for sharing new ideas, fostering collaborations, and engaging in meaningful discussion on issues that matter for both policy and practice — and allows early-career researchers to present their work and receive feedback from leading scholars in the field. Established in 2008, FRTL is a Centre of Excellence at IIM Calcutta dedicated to advancing research, teaching, and training in finance and accounting through access to financial market data, analytical tools, and state-of-the-art research infrastructure.
