On behalf of the Australian Pain Society (APS), I am very excited to welcome you to Adelaide from 19 - 22 April 2026 for our 46th Annual Scientific Meeting.
We will be meeting on the lands of the Kaurna people, who are the traditional owners and custodians of the beautiful Adelaide Plains.

Professor Annina Schmid, Professor of Pain Neurosciences at the Nuffield Department of Clinical Neurosciences, Oxford University, UK Professor Yves De Koninck, Professor of Psychiatry and Neuroscience at Universite Laval, Canada They will be joined by a fabulous group of national speakers who clearly demonstrate why Australia is viewed as a world leader in pain management and research. Come to learn, connect, and be inspired over 4 days of pre-conference workshops, plenary lectures, topical symposia, and oral/poster presentations covering diverse pain research across basic science, clinical science, and real-world clinical implementation.
