The Carnegie-Rochester-NYU Conference on Public Policy is now soliciting papers for a conference on “Inflation Dynamics: Theory and Evidence."
This conference will be held at New York University on April 30-May 1, 2027. The papers and comments are slated for publication in early 2028 in the Journal of Monetary Economics.
This conference aims to put together a set of papers that analyze the dynamics of inflation from both a theoretical and empirical perspective. We are interested in papers that study the sources of the recent rise in inflation across the world, its incidence on workers, households, and firms, and the appropriate policy response.
We encourage submissions covering a wide range of related topics, as well as using various types of data (micro and macro) and methods (both empirical and theoretical).
