World Cancer Congress

The World Cancer Congress aims to strengthen the participants' actions and impact on national, regional and international scales through a multidisciplinary programme featuring the latest successful cancer prevention, diagnosis, treatment and care interventions. The World Cancer Congress is an initiative of the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) - which was recognised with Membership Engagement Award - and supports the organisation's mission: 'to both unite and support the cancer community in its efforts to reduce the global cancer burden, promote greater equity and ensure that cancer control remains a priority on the global health and development agenda'. The upcoming edition will however be hosted in UICC's hometown, Geneva in Switzerland, on 17-19 September 2024, at the International Conference Centre Geneva (CICG). UICC member organisations from across Europe will be joining in as co-hosts.
