Golestan University of Medical Sciences (GOUMS) (Persian: دانشگاه علوم پزشکی و خدمات بهداشتی درمانی گلستان) is located in Gorgan, northeastern Iran, south of the Caspian Sea. The university was first established in 1967 and consists of seven major faculties: Medicine, Dentistry, Public Health, New Technologies in Medical Sciences, Paramedicine, Nursing and Midwifery, and the Center for Medical Education Studies and Development.
