New Delhi, India – In a move to ensure complete digitization of student records, the deadline for higher education institutions to upload academic awards on the National Academic Depository (NAD) and Academic Bank of Credits (ABC) platform has been extended until November 30. The extension provides a crucial window for universities and colleges to complete the process and ensure all student data is securely registered.
The NAD-ABC platform is a key initiative under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, designed to create a digital repository for academic documents such as degrees, diplomas, and mark sheets. When a student's record is linked to their Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry (APAAR) ID, it creates a lifelong, secure digital identity that facilitates a range of benefits.

The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) Chairman, K. Madhu Murthy, in a recent statement, emphasised the importance of this initiative. He urged all higher educational institutions to take advantage of the extended window and complete the data upload.
